3. The Queer Youth Fund, Scholarships & Other Donor Advised Investments

Liberty Hill manages more than 60 donor advised and restricted funds established by individuals, families and businesses to achieve their charitable aspirations while benefiting from our 33 years of philanthropic expertise. Donor advised grants are recommended by donors in consultation with Liberty Hill staff and are made year-round. Our restricted funds address specific issues and have very finite criteria to consider when applying for funding. Some of these funds include:

  • The Queer Youth Fund which makes multi-year grants to organizations located anywhere in the United States working to improve the quality of life among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (GLBTQQ) youth through innovative and effective leadership development programs or organizing projects that empower GLBTQQ youth.
