by Crystal Shaw on July 19, 2016

In the yearlong celebration of Liberty Hill Foundation's 40th anniversary, we're partnering with Grand Performances for one incredible night-- this Saturday, July 23. The  "Our Nation Awakens" concert, sponsored by Liberty Hill, features an all-star ensemble celebrating the soundtrack that has fueled social and political movements over the decades. A carefully curated list of indie artists will perform music that will aim to bring people together in the heart of downtown L.A. during a time in our country when we need it most.

Music has long since been the sonic partner in protest and activism throughout the years and Liberty Hill recognizes its power to unite, heal and embolden fighters on the frontlines of change.  Join us this Saturday, July 23 at 8 p.m. for this not-to-be-missed concert.
