Justice Begins at Home - Highlights from the 2018 Upton Sinclair Awards Dinner

Liberty Hill's 2018 Upton Sinclair Awards Dinner has always been the premier place where progressive L.A. comes to celebrate the movement-making social justice moments that are unfolding across Los Angeles. It's also a place where political allies, donor-activists, grassroots community leaders and organizers alike come together and make real change for all Angelenos. This year’s event was one for the books! It’s the first time in its 36 year history that the Dinner was completely SOLD OUT. We owe this momentous accomplishment to our faithful supporters, new friends, and honorees, Liz Levitt Hirsch and Congressman John Lewis; as well as Liberty Hill’s powerful 2018 Leaders to Watch, Nalleli Cobo, Tanisha Denard and Cynthia Macias.
