Justin Andrew Marks is in charge of Liberty Hill’s Brothers Sons Selves coalition and Queer Justice Youth Leadership Programs. Before coming to Liberty Hill, Justin served as the Educational Equity Program Manager for the Social Justice Learning Institute (SJLI), one of the members of the BSS Coalition. In his role at SJLI, Justin helped to mobilize system-involved youth pass the Safe Neighborhoods & Schools Act in California, assisted the Brothers, Sons, Selves members to activate over 300 students to march against state-sanctioned violence and led trainings and workshops for parents, youth, and staff. Before joining SJLI, Justin was a student activist at California State University, Northridge, an organizer for the National Union of Healthcare Workers, and an Instructor for the Prison Education Project in Uganda and in California. 323-556-7217
