A new study, released by the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy (LAANE), examined the impact of the Living Wage Ordinance (which went into effect in July 2008 in the Century Corridor near LAX) and collective bargaining agreements at four of the 12 Century Corridor hotels.

5,000 Airport Workers To See Wage Increase

The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously yesterday to require contractors at LAX, Ontario International Airport and Van Nuys Airport that they provide a living wage beginning Jan. 1 to 5,000 workers. Liberty Hill partner L.A. Alliance for a New Economy was instrumental to the win. Read The Business Journal story.
