Bigger Than Baseball: Standing up for LA’s Youth
Big news! Liberty Hill is proud to announce a new $100,000 grant from the Dodgers Foundation to support our California Funders for Boys and Men of Color initiative. Together, we’re working to build the nation’s largest youth development system—a bold vision rooted in equity, opportunity, and community leadership.
The Dodgers Foundation has long been a force for change in Los Angeles, tackling our city’s most urgent challenges—from education and health care to homelessness and social justice. This investment exemplifies their mission to level the playing field and uplift solutions created by and for our communities.
The California Funders for Boys and Men of Color initiative engages some of the region’s leading philanthropic institutions—including Liberty Hill Foundation—in collaborative efforts to remove systemic barriers and create pathways that enable boys and men of color to achieve their greatest hopes and dreams.
The grant will enable Liberty Hill to provide essential support to grassroots social justice organizations that are actively working to build the nation’s largest youth development system and to end youth incarceration in Los Angeles County.
