We Stand With Immigrant Communities

This week, the Supreme Court issued a decision that puts immigrant families and workers across Los Angeles in even greater danger. By pausing protections against racial profiling in immigration enforcement, the Court has opened the door for federal agents to tear loved ones away from their families, workplaces, and neighborhoods—based on nothing more than appearance, language, or the type of job someone holds.

This is not an abstract legal debate. It is a terrifying reality for our communities. Parents are being snatched from sidewalks while walking their children to school. Workers are being pulled away from construction sites or car washes. And American citizens—who “look” or “sound” a certain way—are not safe either. This decision signals that entire communities can be treated as suspect, stripped of dignity, and forced to live in constant fear.

At Liberty Hill, we refuse to accept this as normal. Immigrants are the heartbeat of Los Angeles. They are our neighbors, coworkers, family members, and friends. They have always built and sustained this county—and they deserve to live free from harassment and persecution.

We are proud to stand alongside the grassroots leaders, worker rights organizers, and immigrant justice organizations who are fighting to protect our communities from these unjust attacks. Together, we will continue to resist policies that target people for simply existing and we will fight for a Los Angeles where all people are safe, respected, and free.

Our message is clear and unwavering:

You are not alone. We see you. We stand with you. And we will not stop fighting for your dignity and freedom.

Take Action

We urge every funder, individual donor, public official, and Angeleno: Take action. Use your voice. Use your platform. Use your power. Support the grassroots immigrant rights organizations on the frontlines of this fight—find them below—and stand with our communities in this moment of crisis.
