Agenda for a Just Future

We Stand With Survivors

March 18, 2026
By Liberty Hill Foundation

Liberty Hill stands with Dolores Huerta, whose leadership and commitment have been pillars of the farmworker movement for decades, and all survivors whose experiences are being named in this moment. We honor the courage it takes to speak, especially after silence has been demanded for so long, and we remain committed to meeting that truth with care and accountability.

We also honor the generations of farmworkers who organized, sacrificed, and built a movement that secured fundamental rights and protections for workers across this country. This movement, led by farmworkers themselves, has always been bigger than any one individual. It is rooted in collective courage, shared struggle, and a deep commitment to dignity and justice.

One man’s actions do not define this movement, and they never will. Our communities need advocacy and activism now more than ever, and we stand with the community of survivors to continue that work.

Ensuring the safety of survivors is not separate from movement building; it is essential to it.

At a time when immigrant and farmworker communities continue to face deep harm and uncertainty, we must remain grounded in dignity, safety, and accountability.
