Our Democracy. Our Elections. Our Role.
A Virtual Salon for Los Angeles Donors, Artists & Civic Leaders
With Election Day just around the corner, and the consequential weeks of counting, certification, and transition ahead, the time to prepare, connect, and act in coordination is now.
We're deeply grateful to our speakers — Erica Chenoweth, Dr. Charity Chandler-Cole, Pati Guerra, Jung Hee Choi, Karla Zombro, Anjuli Kronheim Katz, Jane Fonda, Eric Ward, and Sarah Pillsbury — and to our collaborating organizations, including Love Powers LA, the Committee for the First Amendment, Movement Voter Fund/Project, Solidaire, and LA Forward, for helping make this gathering possible.

Here are the resources we promised to help turn our conversation into action:
- [Election Protection Messaging Toolkit] Key messages and guidance to help you communicate about election protection with clarity, confidence, and coordination with frontline leaders.
- [Industry & Influencer Outreach Toolkit] Practical guidance for reaching out to influential leaders in your professional, creative, and civic networks and inviting them to participate.
- [Presentation Slides] The slide deck from our gathering, including the information and strategies shared by our speakers.
One of the most important messages from our conversation was that each of us has something meaningful to contribute, whether that's financial resources, connections, an audience, communications expertise, or the ability to bring others together. Those contributions are powerful alone – and they multiply when they're coordinated.
We're building a network that can stay connected through the election and the critical weeks that follow, with opportunities to contribute when coordinated action can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can pay attention, stay focused, and channel our energy and resources where they're needed most.
