Rooted & Rising: Gatherings for A Just California
Liberty Hill and LA Voice transform listening into leadership, struggle into solidarity, and presence into power through a house-meeting and training, hosted by Liberty Hill DAF holders Allison Thomas, Natalie Mahdesian, and Paula Litt.

As Dr. Charity Chandler-Col, executive director of LA Voice reminded us: we are not spectators to history, we are shapers of it. Ours is a moral movement grounded in the belief that democracy works best when ordinary people step together into their extraordinary power.

Get out the vote for the June primary and learn more about Measure ER:
Measure ER is the Essential Healthcare Restoration Act for Los Angeles County. It instates a temporary, half a penny investment to protect the essential services that every person in Los Angeles County relies on for their healthcare needs.
Meet immediate needs of LA’s unhoused and economically precarious community:
If anyone is looking to donate materially, the Amazon wish list is available here. For anyone interested in volunteering time (cooking and/or serving food), the best thing to do is follow the primary coordinator, Eva Woods on Instagram, who manages the program. Since this is an all volunteer led effort, there is no website and all funds raised and all effort goes directly to supporting events at the park.
