Thaise Boyd

Thaise's role is to perform all aspects of Liberty Hill’s day-to-day accounting, general ledger month-end close processes and assist with financial reporting functions. Thaise assists in the development of long-term comprehensive accounting solution for the organization, processing a variety of transactions to support the ongoing operations of the business. She also develops relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the day-to-day accounting processes.

Thaise comes to Liberty Hill with over 20 years of accounting experience and 15 of them have been in non-profit accounting.  Thaise is coming to us most recently from A Place Called Home, where she has served as the Senior Accountant for the past four years. Prior to that she was the Controller/Assistant Director of Finance for The Discovery Place in North Carolina where she directed finance operations, facilitated month-end closing, prepared schedules for annual audits and supported the audit process among a host of other finance responsibilities. Thaise also has extensive knowledge in recording revenue for unrestricted/restricted donations, grants, and pledge payments to which she has used Blackbaud and Financial Edge. She has a vast range of experience and will contribute significantly to our organization.
