Liberty Vote! creates a culture of electoral activism and engagement among Los Angeles’ social and economic justice organizations. It builds the organizational capacity of grassroots nonprofits to incorporate voter empowerment activities into their mission and increases voter turnout in areas with the lowest voter participation.

The Liberty Vote! Special Opportunity Fund will provide grants of up to $40,000 to help groups conduct general nonpartisan voter engagement activities during the 2020 election year. Types of support include voter education, registration activities, precinct or community leadership training, technical assistance, and access to new voting technology and data programs.
