About the Event

Billboard Magazine Executive Editor and former Liberty Hill Board Member, Melinda Newman, hosted a wonderfully candid conversation with legendary Doors musician John Densmore about his career and the ways music has played a role in fueling social justice. John shared stories from his book The Seekers: Meetings with Remarkable Musicians. When asked what perspectives he could offer from the strife of the 60s to help us get through today's challenging social climate, John shared his belief in an ebb and flow—ying and yang—along with the need to come together as a country.
