Our Upton Sinclair Homecoming Celebration is around the corner and Spring Training is in full swing! We’re excited to announce our Upton Sinclair Visionary Award winners, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF).

Under the leadership of CEO, Nichol T. Whiteman, LADF has expanded their mission to include education, health care, homelessness, sports access, and youth development. Liberty Hill is thrilled to partner with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and celebrates them for their support for our social justice and youth development work across Los Angeles County.

This past August, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and Kershaw’s Challenge announced a generous $110,000 grant in support of Liberty Hill’s collective work on social justice and youth development. To date, the Dodgers Foundation and Kershaw's Challenge have raised more than $415,000 to support this critical work.

They also launched the “In This Together” Campaign, encouraging their players to use their voices and platforms to uplift the voices of those fighting on the ground for change.

They are definitely proving that they are Bigger than Baseball!
