To me, social change comes from the intrinsic power of the communities that are already fighting the fight in their daily lives. It’s important to build power from the ground up and center those that are the most impacted against systematic oppression.

Sabrina’s family consists of Taiwanese immigrants that moved to Los Angeles from Bogotá, Colombia in the 90’s. Sabrina has five years of experience working in community-based non-profits, including in direct services, administration, and development. She graduated in 2018 with a B.A. in Psychology from Cal Poly Pomona. Sabrina (she/they) works with the grantmaking team to track and issue grants for donor advised funds. They also support meetings with grantees to support the cultivation of partnerships between LHF and the organizations they partner with.
