Tekaysha Reese
Executive Assistant, Impact

As woman of color growing up in the inner city, I have witnessed firsthand the harsh realities of systemic injustice that continue to affect marginalized communities. I stand for justice that is rooted in equity, not just equality and I believe in the power of philanthropy, the importance of economic empowerment, and the necessity of community healing.
Tekaysha provides executive-level administrative and strategic support to the Impact team by playing a pivotal role in facilitating seamless operations, supporting fundraising efforts, and deploying senior leadership in strategic donor and partner relationships.
With a background in Human Resources, Tekaysha has transitioned into operations and process development, honing her skills in building efficient systems and driving organizational success. During the pandemic, she earned a Master's degree in HR Management from the University of Southern California, achieving a 4.0 GPA and earning membership in the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi academic society.
Her commitment to social justice has always been at the core of her work. She began volunteering with non-profits in college, focusing on children facing economic challenges, homelessness, poverty, and disease. This experience fueled her passion for making a tangible difference and contributed to the change she continues to advocate for.
In addition to her professional and volunteer work, Tekaysha has also been deeply involved in philanthropy and fundraising efforts. She believes in the power of giving back and has contributed to initiatives that raise funds and awareness for causes that uplift vulnerable communities. Through her dedication to both social justice and philanthropy, Tekaysha strives to create a more equitable and compassionate world for all.
