At the recent X Fund Reception, Liberty Hill’s X Fund Giving Circle members and grantee partners gathered to celebrate the circle’s ongoing commitment to Gender Justice in LA and its support of local women, girls, and gender expansive individuals in the fight for equity.

The annual gathering, hosted at The Getty House, featured an exciting program that highlighted the incredible work these frontline groups are doing to uplift and prioritize the needs of women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals and mobilizing rapid response for our communities under attack.

This year, the X Fund also honored the life of founding member, friend, documentarian and activist, Andrea Nevins, who had recently transitioned.

The event also celebrated the outstanding grantee organizations selected from this year’s grant cycle, which included: Alliance for Girls, Black LA Relief and Recovery Fund, Butterfly’s Haven, CA Healthy Nail Salon Collaborative, CA Back Women’s Health Project, CA Latinas for Reproductive Justice, Garment Worker Center, Immigration Center for Women & Children, Mirror Memoirs, National Clinic Access Project, Trans Can Work, and Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project.

The X Fund provides support to grantees that promote change through policy reform or directly provide services with a focus on the areas of resourcing women, eradicating crimes, and working for equity.
