Ready to Rise 2025 Cohort Summit
In March, Liberty Hill and California Community Foundation joined forces to host the Ready to Rise 2025 Cohort Summit, a powerful gathering of grantees, partners, and community leaders, all rooted in a shared vision of positive youth development and systems change.
As the initiative enters its fifth year, Ready to Rise has now grown to a $50M initiative, providing critical funding for community-based positive youth development services and capacity building to an additional 50 grantees in L.A. County.
The initiative supports programs that help previously incarcerated youth transition back into their communities and will provide capacity-building assistance and $18 million to LA County organizations, serving over 30,000 youth.
At the recent gathering, Ready to Rise grantee partners shared how the innovative program has helped them strengthen their organizations, elevate youth leadership, and expand their impact in communities across LA. The energy in the room was undeniable and was a reminder that real transformation happens when we invest in community-led solutions!
The newest Ready to Rise cohort includes a diverse group of organizations committed to empowering youth across Los Angeles County. These grantees provide essential services like education, mentorship, leadership development, and creative arts, focusing on youth impacted by justice involvement, foster care, and housing insecurity.
