Solidarity & Progress Short Film
As part of the 2026 Upton Sinclair Dinner, Liberty Hill was proud to premier 50 Years of Solidarity & Progress, a short film reflecting on our founding, evolution, and the community of organizers, donor activists, and partners who have shaped our journey.
50 Years of Solidarity & Progress follows the extraordinary work of the Liberty Hill community as donor activists and frontline activists pursue a more equitable and just Los Angeles. From tenants organizing to advocating for safer and healthier communities, the film also looks ahead to the future we are building together. A bold future rooted in community power, justice, and possibility.
Watch this powerful short film featuring Liberty Hill donor activists, current and former staff, and frontline partners at East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice, Long Beach Residents Empowered (LiBRE), Community Coalition of South Los Angeles, and Youth Justice Coalition as they share their stories and celebrate the progress we’ve made together to ensure a more just future for all Angelenos.
